Requirements
BuddyPress Schedule Activity is an add-on for a BuddyPress or BuddyBoss community. It needs a working community platform to attach to.
Minimum requirements

The plugin only boots when a BuddyPress or BuddyBoss install is active. If neither is present, it deactivates itself and shows an admin notice explaining that BuddyPress or BuddyBoss must be installed and active.

Reliable auto-publishing needs a working cron
Section titled “Reliable auto-publishing needs a working cron”Scheduled updates are published by a WordPress cron task that runs every minute. WordPress cron (WP-Cron) is triggered by site traffic, so on a low-traffic site posts can publish a few minutes late. For on-time publishing on quiet sites, set up a real server cron job. Supported platforms and themes
Section titled “Supported platforms and themes”The scheduling control adapts automatically to the platform and theme in use:
- BuddyPress (Nouveau and Legacy templates)
- BuddyBoss Platform and the BuddyBoss Theme
- Youzify
- Reign and BuddyX / BuddyX Pro themes
rtMedia is also detected so that scheduled posts stay hidden from feeds when rtMedia’s privacy features are enabled. See Integrations for details.
