Installation

Install BuddyPress Schedule Activity like any other WordPress plugin. Make sure BuddyPress or BuddyBoss is active first, since the plugin only runs when one of them is present.

Before you start

Confirm BuddyPress or BuddyBoss Platform is installed and active, and that the Activity component is enabled. Scheduling attaches to the activity post form, so the Activity feature must be turned on.

Install from the plugin zip

1. In wp-admin, go to Plugins, then Add New, then Upload Plugin.
2. Choose the buddypress-schedule-activity zip file and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate.

Install by upload (FTP or SFTP)

1. Unzip the plugin package.
2. Upload the buddypress-schedule-activity folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
3. In wp-admin, go to Plugins and activate BuddyPress Schedule Activity.

Activate your license

BuddyPress Schedule Activity is a premium plugin. To receive automatic updates, activate your license:

1. In wp-admin, open WB Plugins, then Schedule Activity.
2. Open the License tab.
3. Paste your license key and click Activate.

There is nothing to configure

Once the plugin is active, scheduling is live. Members immediately see the clock icon on the activity post form and can schedule an update. There is no plugin settings page to visit, and no options to turn on.

The plugin’s own admin screen (WB Plugins, then Schedule Activity) has three tabs and none of them hold settings:

• Overview, showing that scheduling is active and a live count of updates waiting to publish.
• Support, with quick answers and links to documentation and support.
• License, where you activate or deactivate your license key.

Everything members interact with lives on the front end of the site. Go to Quick Start to schedule your first activity.
