Installation
Woo Document Preview Pro adds store-owner controls, multi-vendor support, and licensed auto-updates on top of the free Document Preview for WooCommerce plugin. It is an add-on: the free plugin does the actual document rendering, and Pro contributes its features through the free plugin’s extension points.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- WooCommerce, installed and active. Pro deactivates itself and shows an admin notice if WooCommerce is not active.
- The free base plugin Document Preview for WooCommerce (
woo-document-preview), installed and active. Pro pauses its features and shows a reminder notice when the free base is missing. It never deactivates the free plugin. - A valid Woo Document Preview Pro license key for updates (see below).
The free base and Pro are designed to run together. Keep both active.
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Install and activate Document Preview for WooCommerce (the free base plugin).
- Upload the
woo-document-preview-profolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install the zip through Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. - Activate Woo Document Preview Pro through the Plugins menu.
On activation Pro seeds default settings (button position, colors, the full allowed file-type list, and all existing product categories) if no settings exist yet.
Activating your license
Section titled “Activating your license”The License tab appears on the shared plugin settings screen. Enter your license key and
activate it to receive automatic updates. Licensing is handled through Easy Digital
Downloads Software Licensing against https://wbcomdesigns.com/.
Where the settings live
Section titled “Where the settings live”Pro does not add its own admin menu. Its settings render as tabs on the shared settings screen provided by the free base plugin:
- Pro Settings tab: preview button position and colors, allowed file types, allowed categories.
- License tab: license key activation and status.
