WooCommerce Setup
BuddyX Pro automatically styles WooCommerce when activated.
Quick Setup
1. Install WooCommerce
- Plugins > Add New
- Search “WooCommerce”
- Click Install Now then Activate
- Complete WooCommerce setup wizard
2. Verify Integration
After activating WooCommerce:
- Visit your Shop page (
/shop/) - You should see product grid with BuddyX styling
- Add item to cart – cart icon appears in header with count
That’s it – BuddyX Pro handles the styling automatically.
BuddyX Pro Settings
All WooCommerce theme settings are in Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce.

WooCommerce creates these automatically:

Missing pages? Go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Create default pages
Common Issues
Shop page 404
- WooCommerce > Settings > Products
- Verify Shop Page is assigned
- Settings > Permalinks > Click Save
Cart icon not showing
- Verify WooCommerce is active
- Customize > Site Header > Header Elements
- Toggle Site Cart to On
Product images wrong size
- WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display
- Adjust image dimensions
- Use Regenerate Thumbnails plugin
Mini-cart not opening
- Clear all caches
- Disable JS minification temporarily
- Check browser console for errors
