Quick Start Guide

Get BuddyX Pro running in 5 steps.

Step 1: Install the Theme (2 minutes)

1. Download buddyx-pro.zip from your account
2. Go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme
3. Choose the ZIP file
4. Click Install Now
5. Click Activate

Step 2: Install Required Plugins (2 minutes)

After activation, you’ll see a notice about required plugins.

1. Click the notice or go to Appearance > Install Plugins
2. Select all required plugins
3. Choose Install from dropdown
4. Click Apply
5. After installation, select all and choose Activate

Required:

• Kirki Customizer Framework

Recommended (based on your needs):

• BuddyPress (for community features)
• WooCommerce (for e-commerce)
• LearnDash (for courses)

Step 3: Set Your Logo and Colors (3 minutes)

Add Your Logo

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity
2. Click Select Logo
3. Upload your logo
4. Adjust width if needed
5. Click Publish

Choose Colors

1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Site Skin
2. Pick a color preset OR set custom colors
3. Click Publish

Step 4: Create Your Menu (3 minutes)

1. Go to Appearance > Menus
2. Click Create a new menu
3. Name it “Primary Menu”
4. Add pages from the left panel
5. Check Primary Menu in Menu Settings
6. Click Save Menu

Step 5: Set Your Homepage (2 minutes)

Option A: Use a Page as Homepage

1. Create a page called “Home”
2. Go to Settings > Reading
3. Select A static page
4. Choose your Home page
5. Click Save Changes

Option B: Show Latest Posts

1. Go to Settings > Reading
2. Select Your latest posts
3. Click Save Changes
