What happens when my license expires?
- Theme keeps working – Your site continues normally
- No updates – Can’t download new versions
- No support – Can’t submit tickets
- Renew anytime – Usually 50% discount
Activating Your License
Where do I enter my license key?
- Appearance > Customize
- Open Theme License panel
- Paste your license key
- Click Activate License
- Click Publish
Where do I find my license key?
- Log into wbcomdesigns.com/my-account
- Go to Downloads
- Copy your license key
Can I transfer my license to another domain?
Yes:
- Deactivate on old site (Customize > Theme License > Deactivate)
- Activate on new site with same key
You can also manage sites from your account dashboard.
Updates
How do I update the theme?
Automatic (license active):
- Go to Dashboard > Updates
- Find BuddyX Pro
- Click Update Now
Manual (license expired):
- Download latest from your account
- Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload
- Replace existing version
Will I lose my settings when updating?
No. Customizer settings are stored in the database and preserved during updates.
Update failed – what do I do?
- Check your license is active
- Try manual update via FTP
- Increase PHP memory limit to 256MB
- Contact support if still failing
