Tools
The Tools tab (Settings > Email Domain Restriction > Tools) holds diagnostic helpers.
Integration status
Section titled “Integration status”A table of every supported integration showing whether the target plugin is detected (Active or Not Installed), its version when available, and the features it protects. Use it to confirm a form is covered before relying on it.
Configuration check
Section titled “Configuration check”Click Run Check to scan your current setup. It reports issues such as:
- No domain restrictions configured.
- Both allowed and banned domains set (the banned list is ignored).
- Logging disabled.
- Real-time validation disabled.
- The log table missing.
- License expired, invalid, or not activated.
If nothing is wrong, it reports that the configuration looks good.
Test email
Section titled “Test email”Enter an address and click Test Email to see whether it would be allowed or blocked under the current rules. Blocked results show the same error message a visitor would see. This test does not create a log entry.
Domain validator
Section titled “Domain validator”Paste domains (one per line) and click Validate to check whether each is a recognized pattern (exact, wildcard, or extension) before you add it to a list.
System info
Section titled “System info”Shows the plugin version, the server PHP version, and the WordPress version, which is handy when reporting an issue.
