Troubleshooting

The plugin deactivates itself right after activation

The addon requires all three of: the Reign theme active, WCFM Marketplace active, and WooCommerce active. If any is missing, it deactivates and shows an admin notice naming what is missing.

• Confirm the active theme is Reign (or a Reign child theme).
• Confirm WCFM Marketplace and WooCommerce are both active.
• Fix the missing item, then activate again.

The WCFM Marketplace settings tab is missing

The settings tab is added to the Reign theme’s options page. If you do not see it, confirm the addon is active and that you are looking at the Reign Options page. The tab only appears while the addon is running (which requires the dependencies above).

The favourite heart icon does not appear

• Confirm Mark Products As Favourite is turned on under Reign Options > WCFM Marketplace > General.
• Confirm you are logged in. The icon is not shown to logged-out visitors.
• The icon appears on single-product and shop/archive pages. It is not added elsewhere.

Favouriting a product does nothing

The toggle uses an AJAX request. If it silently fails:

• Check the browser console for a request to admin-ajax.php with the product_mark_favuorite action.
• A 403 response means the security nonce did not validate, usually because the page was cached with a stale nonce. Clear your page cache and reload.
• A 400 response means the product ID was not a valid product.

The Favourite or Store profile tab is missing

• Favourite tab: only shown to a member viewing their own profile, and only when the favourite setting is on.
• Store tab: only shown for members who are WCFM vendors, and only when Display Store Tab is on. That setting row appears only when WCFM Marketplace is present.

Activity entries are not being created

• Confirm BuddyPress and its Activity component are both active.
• Confirm the matching setting (Create Product Activity, Add Review Activity, or Order Activity) is on.
• Product activity fires when a product moves to Published from an unpublished status. Review activity fires when a review is approved. Order activity fires on the order-received page and only once per order.

Products appear twice in the activity feed

This happens when both BuddyBoss’s product feed and the addon’s product activity post the same event. Turn off one of them. The addon disables its own product activity automatically when BuddyBoss’s product feed is on. See Third-party integrations.

Auction countdown is blank on the store or favourite tab

The addon forces YITH Auctions to load its countdown scripts on its BuddyPress store and favourite tabs. If the countdown is still blank, confirm YITH WooCommerce Auctions is active and that the products shown are auction products.

Store page looks wrong after switching to Layout 2

• Confirm WCFM Marketplace is active. Layout 2 depends on it and renders nothing extra when WCFM helpers are unavailable.
• If a WCFM add-on feature (enquiry, follow, badges) is missing on Layout 2, and you have overridden the template in your theme, make sure your copy still calls the WCFM template hooks. See Template override.

Updates are not offered

• Confirm your license shows Active under Reign Options > License Manager. See Manage your license.
• Confirm the site can reach wbcomdesigns.com.
• The license check is cached for 12 hours, so a freshly activated key may take a short while to reflect in the update check.
