Overview

Your marketplace already sells. PeepSo Multivendor Integration makes it social. It bridges your WooCommerce marketplace and your PeepSo community so that a member’s profile becomes a living storefront window: visitors jump to the vendor’s store, browse the vendor’s catalog, favorite products they like, and buyers get a private purchases area on their own profile. One build works across Dokan, WCFM and WC Vendors, and on plain WooCommerce too.

What it does

The plugin connects two things you already run: your community (PeepSo) and your marketplace (a WooCommerce marketplace plugin, or WooCommerce on its own). It adds community-facing surfaces to the profile without duplicating your marketplace’s seller tools.

  • Works with your marketplace, not against it. Dokan (Lite and Pro), WCFM, and WC Vendors are all supported through one adapter layer. The plugin detects which one is active and routes every vendor link to that marketplace’s own storefront and dashboard.
  • A showcase, not a second dashboard. Commission, payouts, reports and order management stay on the marketplace’s own dashboard, where sellers already expect them. The profile stays a clean, community-facing window, and the Store and Visit Store links send vendors straight to their real dashboard.
  • Value even without a marketplace. On a plain WooCommerce store the buyer Purchases tab and product favorites keep working, so you get value from day one and can add a marketplace later.

Key capabilities

  • Profile store showcase. A vendor’s profile gains a Store icon, a My Products tab listing their published catalog with a Visit Store button, and a store link that lands on their public storefront.
  • One build, three marketplaces. The adapter layer means Dokan, WCFM and WC Vendors all get the same consistent profile surfaces. Switching marketplaces does not change what members see.
  • Product favorites. Any logged-in member can favorite products with a heart icon on single product pages and shop cards. Each member’s favorites live on their own Favorite Products tab, private to them by default.
  • Buyer Purchases area. Members get a private Purchases tab on their own profile with Orders, Downloads and Addresses, built entirely on WooCommerce core. Only the profile owner ever sees it.
  • Community activity. When a vendor publishes a product, the plugin can post it to the PeepSo activity stream, so new products show up where your community already looks. Both the site owner and the individual vendor can turn this off.
  • Become a Vendor, in place. Non-vendor members see a Become a Vendor tab that renders the active marketplace’s own registration form, so signup happens inside the community.

Who it is for

  • Community owners running a marketplace. If you pair PeepSo with Dokan, WCFM or WC Vendors, this connects the two so vendors have a presence inside the community, not just a separate store page.
  • Store owners planning to add vendors later. Start on plain WooCommerce with the Purchases tab and favorites, then add a supported marketplace when you are ready. No re-setup.
  • Sites that switched or may switch marketplaces. Because one build serves all three marketplaces, moving between them does not mean re-doing the profile integration.

Honest differentiators

  • It does not reinvent the seller dashboard. This is a deliberate choice. The plugin does not embed a commission or reports console into PeepSo, so there is no second dashboard to drift out of sync with your marketplace’s updates. If you want an in-profile financial console, this is not that, and that is on purpose.
  • One integration, not one per marketplace. The adapter layer is the whole point: the same profile surfaces on Dokan, WCFM and WC Vendors, and a documented extension point for adding another marketplace.
  • Privacy is enforced, not just hidden. Purchases and favorites are owner-only by default, and the guard is server-side. A direct URL to another member’s Purchases returns a permission notice, not their orders.
  • Big-catalog and big-order safe. Product grids and order history are paginated, so a vendor with thousands of products or a buyer with a long order history still loads one page at a time.
