Quick Start

This walkthrough gets you from a fresh install to courses, activity, and certificates showing on member profiles.

1. Connect an LMS

There is nothing to connect manually. Activate any supported LMS plugin and PeepSo LMS Integration detects it on the next page load.

To confirm detection, go to WB Plugins > PeepSo LMS and open the Welcome tab. The detected-LMS status lists each supported platform as Active or Not Installed. The same list appears at the bottom of PeepSo > Configuration > LMS.

2. See courses on a profile

  1. Enroll a member in a course in your LMS.
  2. Visit that member’s PeepSo profile.
  3. Open the Courses tab. Enrolled courses appear grouped by LMS, each with a progress bar.
  4. Use the All / In Progress / Completed sub-tabs to filter. Long lists are paged, so the tab stays fast even at thousands of enrollments.

The Courses tab is on by default. If it is missing, check that Enabled is on under Configuration > LMS > Profiles.

3. Turn on course activity

  1. Go to PeepSo > Configuration > LMS.
  2. Under Action - user enrolled in a course and Action - user completed a course, make sure Enabled is on (both default on).
  3. Enroll in or complete a course. An entry appears in the activity stream with a compact course card beneath it.

Members can opt out of sharing any enabled activity type from their own PeepSo Preferences page, under Learning Activity.

4. See certificates

  1. Under Configuration > LMS > Profiles > Certificates, make sure Enabled is on (default on). The toggle appears only when an active LMS supports certificates.
  2. Earn a certificate in your LMS.
  3. Open the Certificates tab on the profile. Earned certificates appear here. If a member has none yet, the tab shows an empty-state message rather than disappearing.
Section titled “5. Link a course to a group”

Requires the PeepSo Groups addon.

  1. Edit a course in your LMS. Find the PeepSo Groups metabox.
  2. Pick Related groups (shown on the course), Auto-join groups (members are added on enrollment), and a Default activity group (course activity is mirrored into that group’s stream).
  3. Save the course.
