Installation

Before you install

Make sure BuddyPress (or BuddyBoss Platform) is already installed and active with its Activity component turned on. BuddyPress Edit Activity deactivates itself and shows an admin notice if BuddyPress is missing.

From your WordPress dashboard

1. Go to Plugins > Add New.
2. Search for BuddyPress Edit Activity.
3. Click Install Now, then Activate.
4. WordPress redirects you to the plugin’s settings page automatically.

Manual installation (zip file)

If you downloaded the plugin as a zip:

1. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Choose the zip file and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate Plugin.
4. WordPress redirects you to WB Plugins > Edit Activity.

After activation

Once active, the plugin adds an Edit Activity submenu under WB Plugins in the WordPress admin sidebar. Open it to configure the edit window before members start using the feature. Editing is off by default until you turn it on.
