Hooks and Filters

These are the filters the plugin exposes for customization, verified against the source. All are in the bp-check-in text domain.

Filters

bpchk_member_profile_checkin_tab_name

Filters the display label of the Check-ins profile tab.

bpchk_member_profile_checkin_tab_slug

Filters the URL slug of the Check-ins profile tab. The default is derived from the tab name with sanitize_title().

bpchk_activity_listing_per_page_user_profile

Number of saved check-ins shown per page on the profile tab. Default 10.

bpchk_activity_new_checkin_action

Filters the activity action string for a check-in (the “[member] checked-in” line). Receives the action string and the BP_Activity_Activity object.

bpchk_core_template_plugin

Filters the BuddyPress members template used to render the Check-ins tab screen. Default members/single/plugins.

bpchk_enqueue_checkins_assets

Filters whether the plugin’s CSS and JS load on the current request. Receives the computed boolean, the current $post, the check-in tab slug, and the current BuddyPress component.

AJAX actions

For reference, the plugin registers these admin-ajax.php actions:

Each handler verifies its own nonce.
