The Forums tab appears when bbPress is active on your site. It controls whether reactions appear on forum topics and forum replies. Open it at WB Plugins > BP Reactions > Forums.
If bbPress is not installed or not active, this tab is hidden.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Enable reactions on topics
Section titled “Enable reactions on topics”Toggles reactions for bbPress forum topics.
- On - a React button appears on each forum topic for logged-in members.
- Off - no reaction button on topics.
Enable reactions on replies
Section titled “Enable reactions on replies”Toggles reactions for replies within a forum topic. Independent of the topics setting.
- On - a React button appears on each forum reply.
- Off - no reaction button on replies.
Both settings are independent of each other and of the BuddyPress activity settings.
Choosing emojis for forum content
Section titled “Choosing emojis for forum content”The emojis shown for topics and replies are configured separately from activity emojis. Go to the Reactions tab and scroll to the Forum Topics and Forum Replies sections. The forum default is a 4-emoji set suited to discussion threads (library IDs 1, 7, 8, 9).

BuddyBoss Platform
Section titled “BuddyBoss Platform”If you use BuddyBoss Platform instead of standalone bbPress, forum topic and reply reactions are supported through the BuddyBoss integration. The same Forums tab controls both bbPress and BuddyBoss forum content.
Saving settings
Section titled “Saving settings”Click Save Settings at the bottom of the form.
