Woo Document Preview is a lightweight and user-friendly plugin that extends the core functionality of WooCommerce by adding a document preview feature on single product pages.
This plugin allows you to showcase sample documents such as product manuals, brochures, reports, or eBooks—helping customers make informed purchase decisions.
Supported File Types
Please note: only the following file types are supported for previewing:
Traditional File Formats
- .pdf (Portable Document Format): eBooks, manuals, brochures
- .doc / .docx (Microsoft Word): Templates, contracts, guides
- .xls / .xlsx (Microsoft Excel): Spreadsheets, calculators, data sheets
- .ppt / .pptx (Microsoft PowerPoint): Presentations, slideshows
- .txt (Plain Text): Simple documents, readme files
Cloud Services
The plugin also supports previewing files hosted on popular cloud storage platforms:
- Google Docs – Use a “view-only” sharing link from Google Docs
- Google Sheets – Use a “view-only” sharing link from Google Sheets
- Google Slides – Use a “view-only” sharing link from Google Slides
- OneDrive – Use the public OneDrive sharing link
- Dropbox – Use a Dropbox sharing link (should include /s/ or /scl/fi/)
