Reign Theme – FluentCart Integration Guide

The Reign theme comes with built-in FluentCart integration, giving you a beautiful, modern online store that seamlessly blends with your theme’s design. No additional setup required – just install FluentCart and you’re ready to sell!

FluentCart is a lightweight, fast WordPress e-commerce plugin that lets you sell digital or physical products directly from your website. It’s designed to be simple yet powerful.

When you activate FluentCart with Reign, you automatically get:

Everything works out of the box. Just install FluentCart, and the theme handles the rest!

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
2. Go to Plugins > Add New
3. Search for “FluentCart”
4. Click Install Now on the FluentCart plugin
5. Click Activate

After activation, FluentCart will guide you through a quick setup wizard:

1. Set your store name and currency
2. Configure payment methods (PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
3. Create your shop page (optional – can be done later)
4. Add your first product

Tip: The Reign theme will automatically apply beautiful styling and full-width layouts to all your shop pages!

Visit your shop page to see your products displayed beautifully with:

• Product images
• Pricing
• Add to cart buttons
• Filters and sorting options

That’s it! Your online store is ready.

The Reign theme integrates FluentCart into its powerful customizer system.

1. Go to Appearance > Customize
2. Navigate to the header icons section

Location: Customize > Header > Header Icons

The FluentCart cart icon is automatically available in Reign’s header icons system.

Desktop Header Icons:

1. Open Customizer
2. Navigate to Header > Desktop Header Icons
3. You’ll see “FluentCart Cart” in the available options
4. Enable it to show the cart icon in your desktop header
5. The icon will display real-time cart count

Mobile Header Icons:

1. Navigate to Header > Mobile Header Icons
2. Enable “FluentCart Cart” for mobile devices
3. Click Publish to save

Features:

• Automatically positioned with other header icons
• Fully responsive

When to use:

• ON: Most stores (recommended)
• OFF: If using WooCommerce or SureCart (automatically hidden)

Reign automatically sets full-width layouts for all FluentCart pages:

Pages Auto-Configured:

What is “Full Width”? Full-width layout means your content uses the full width of the container (no sidebar), but still stays within the theme’s maximum width (typically 1170px). This is not a stretched layout that goes edge-to-edge.

The theme automatically applies full-width layout to FluentCart pages, but respects your manual settings.

To override the automatic layout:

1. Edit the page in WordPress
2. Find Reign Page Settings metabox
3. Under Layout > Site Layout, choose your preferred layout:
   • Full Width – No sidebar, content in container (default for FluentCart)
   • Left Sidebar – Sidebar on left
   • Right Sidebar – Sidebar on right
   • Both Sidebars – Sidebars on both sides
4. Click Update

Your choice is respected! Once you manually set a layout, the theme will use your setting instead of the automatic full-width layout.

You can control layouts globally:

1. Go to Appearance > Customize
2. Navigate to Post Types > FluentCart Products
3. Set archive and single page layouts
4. Click Publish

Note: The theme automatically sets these to full-width on first activation.

1. Go to FluentCart > Products > Add New
2. Enter product details:
   • Title: Product name
   • Description: Full product details
   • Price: Set your price
   • Images: Upload product photos
3. Select Category (if created)
4. Select Brand (if applicable)
5. Set Stock status
6. Click Publish

The cart icon position is managed through Reign’s header icons system:

1. Go to Appearance > Customize
2. Navigate to Header > Desktop Header Icons
3. Drag and drop icons to reorder them
4. The FluentCart cart will follow your order
5. Click Publish to save

1. Go to FluentCart > Orders
2. View all customer orders
3. Click an order to:
   • View details
   • Update status
   • Process refunds
   • Send customer emails

1. Go to FluentCart > Dashboard
2. View:
   • Total sales
   • Revenue
   • Recent orders
   • Popular products

Possible Causes & Solutions:

1. Cart icon not enabled in header icons

   • Go to Customize > Header > Desktop Header Icons
   • Enable “FluentCart Cart”
   • Save and refresh

2. WooCommerce or SureCart active

   • The theme defers to these plugins’ cart icons
   • Disable them if you want to use FluentCart’s cart
   • The FluentCart icon will automatically appear

3. Browser cache

   • Clear your browser cache
   • Try viewing in incognito/private mode
   • Clear any server-side caching

Solution:

1. Go to Settings > Permalinks
2. Click Save Changes (even without changing anything)
3. This refreshes your URL structure
4. Check your product pages again

This should not happen – the integration automatically hides page headers.

If it does:

1. Deactivate and reactivate the Reign theme
2. Clear all caches (browser + server)
3. Check if a page builder is overriding the layout
4. Contact support if issue persists

This should be automatic – the theme automatically applies full-width layout to all FluentCart pages.

If it’s not working:

1. Go to Settings > Permalinks
2. Click Save Changes (refreshes page detection)
3. Clear all caches (browser + server)
4. Check the page again

Manual Override (if needed):

1. Edit the page in WordPress
2. Find Reign Page Settings metabox
3. Set Site Layout to “Full Width”
4. Update the page

Note: The theme uses smart detection to identify FluentCart pages and apply layouts automatically. Manual setting should rarely be needed.

This should not happen – the integration automatically hides when WooCommerce is active.

If it does:

1. Go to Customize > Header > Desktop Header Icons
2. Manually disable “FluentCart Cart”
3. Use WooCommerce’s cart icon instead

A) Yes! The integration works perfectly with both FluentCart Free and FluentCart Pro.

A) Yes, the Reign theme has extensive WooCommerce support built-in. However, you can only use one e-commerce plugin at a time. If you activate WooCommerce, FluentCart cart icon will be automatically hidden.

A) Absolutely! All shop pages automatically inherit your Reign theme’s:
