This guide walks you through installing and setting up WB Ad Manager on your WordPress site.
Requirements
- WordPress 5.8 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- A WordPress theme that supports standard hooks (wp_head, wp_footer, the_content)
Installation Methods
Method 1: WordPress Plugin Directory
- Go to Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin
- Search for “WB Ad Manager”
- Click Install Now next to the plugin
- Click Activate after installation completes
Method 2: Manual Upload
- Download the plugin ZIP file from your account
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
- Click Activate after installation completes
Setup Wizard
After activation, you’ll see a setup wizard that helps you configure the plugin quickly:
- Welcome Screen – Overview of the plugin features
- Basic Settings – Configure who can see ads (logged in users, admins, etc.)
- AdSense Setup – Enter your Google AdSense Publisher ID if applicable
- Sample Ads – Optionally create sample ads to see the plugin in action
- Finish – Complete setup and start creating ads
You can skip the wizard and configure settings manually at any time from WB Ad Manager → Settings.
Verifying Installation
After installation, verify everything is working:
- Navigate to WB Ad Manager in your admin menu
- You should see the main dashboard with options to add new ads
- Check Settings to confirm your configuration
- Create a test ad to verify placements work correctly
