When advertisers submit ads, they go through an approval workflow. This guide explains the process for both admins and advertisers.
The Approval Workflow
- Advertiser creates and submits an ad
- Ad enters Pending status
- Admin receives notification
- Admin reviews at WB Ads → Submissions
- Admin approves, rejects, or requests changes
- Advertiser notified of decision
Reviewing Submissions
Navigate to WB Ads → Submissions to see pending ads.
For each submission you can see:
- Ad preview
- Advertiser info
- Package selected
- Requested placements
Approval Actions
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Approve | Ad goes live, advertiser notified |
| Reject | Ad cancelled, advertiser notified with reason |
| Request Changes | Ad returned to advertiser for editing |
Bulk Actions
Select multiple submissions and:
- Approve all selected
- Reject all selected
Auto-Approval Settings
Configure auto-approval at Pro Settings → Submissions:
- Auto-approve for trusted advertisers – Skip review for verified accounts
- Auto-approve specific packages – Premium packages bypass review
- Always require manual review – All ads need approval
Best Practices
- Review submissions daily to avoid delays
- Provide clear rejection reasons to help advertisers improve
- Consider auto-approval for repeat advertisers with good track records
- Set up email notifications so you don’t miss new submissions
