Demo Data Import

The Demo Data tool creates sample content so you can explore the plugin’s features without setting everything up manually. It’s ideal for testing, staging environments, or demonstrating the platform to a client.

What Demo Data Creates

  • Sample advertiser accounts
  • Sample ads in various states (pending, active, expired)
  • Sample campaigns with different pricing models
  • Sample wallet transactions
  • Sample classified listings (if the Classifieds module is enabled)

Importing Demo Data

  1. Go to WB Ad Manager -> Tools
  2. Click Import Demo Data
  3. Confirm the import when prompted
  4. Wait for the process to complete

Demo accounts are created with the password demo123! for easy testing access.

Only import demo data on a test or staging site. It creates real database entries that can be confusing alongside real advertiser data.

Removing Demo Data

To remove all demo content:

  1. Go to WB Ad Manager -> Tools
  2. Click Remove Demo Data
  3. Confirm the removal

This removes all content flagged as demo data. Any real content you’ve added remains untouched.
