When advertisers submit ads from the front-end portal, they appear here for your review. This guide explains how to review, approve, and manage submissions efficiently.
How the Approval Workflow Works
- Advertiser submits an ad from their dashboard
- The ad enters Pending status
- You receive an email notification
- You review the ad at WB Ad Manager -> Submissions
- You approve, reject, or request changes
- The advertiser receives an email with your decision
Reviewing Submissions
Go to WB Ad Manager -> Submissions.

For each submission, you can:
- Preview the ad — see exactly how it looks to visitors
- View advertiser info — who submitted it and their account status
- Check the package — what pricing and placement they selected
- See requested placements — which ad zones they want
Approval Actions
| Action | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Approve | Ad is activated and the advertiser receives a confirmation email |
| Reject | Ad is cancelled — enter a rejection reason so the advertiser knows what to fix |
| Request Changes | Ad is returned to the advertiser for editing before resubmission |
Bulk Actions
To process multiple submissions at once:
- Check the boxes next to multiple submissions
- Choose Approve All or Reject All from the Bulk Actions dropdown
- Click Apply
Bulk actions are useful when you receive a high volume of submissions and need to process them quickly.
Auto-Approval
If you trust certain advertisers or packages, you can configure auto-approval to skip manual review.
Go to WB Ad Manager -> Pro Settings -> General and set the Default Ad Status option:
| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Pending review | All ads require manual approval |
| Auto-approve | Ads go live immediately on submission |
Some configurations also allow auto-approval per package or per trusted advertiser — check your settings.
Pre-Approval Checklist
Before approving, verify:
- [ ] Image quality is acceptable (not blurry, pixelated, or oversized)
- [ ] Destination URL is valid and loads correctly
- [ ] Content matches your site’s advertising guidelines
- [ ] The product or service is allowed on your platform
- [ ] The correct package was selected for the requested placement
Rejection Best Practices
Always include a clear rejection reason. This helps advertisers fix their submission quickly and reduces back-and-forth.
Good rejection reasons:
– “Image resolution is too low — please use at least 300x250px”
– “Destination URL is not working — please check the link”
– “This product category is not permitted on our platform”
Vague rejections like “Ad not suitable” frustrate advertisers and generate more support requests.
