Domain Pattern Examples

Exact Matches

company.com          → Allows user@company.com
university.edu       → Allows student@university.edu

Wildcard Patterns

*.company.com        → Allows mail.company.com, hr.company.com
*.edu               → Allows any .edu domain
mail.*.com          → Allows mail.example.com, mail.test.com

Extension Blocking

.tk                 → Blocks all .tk domains
.temp               → Blocks all .temp domains

Advanced Patterns

*temp*              → Blocks domains containing "temp"
*disposable*        → Blocks domains containing "disposable"

Testing Your Configuration

Always test your settings before going live:

1. Go to Settings Tab (bottom of page)
2. Find Test Email Validation section
3. Enter test email addresses
4. Click Test to see if they’d be allowed/blocked
