Global settings of the Reign Sensei LMS Addon can be accessed by navigating to the Reign Settings > Sensei LMS.
You’ll get the below options on this page:
General Settings
Default Single Course Cover Image
- Enable: When enabled, a default image will be displayed as the cover image for courses that do not have a specific cover image assigned. This ensures all courses have a visual representation.
- Disable: When disabled, courses without a specific cover image will not display any image.
Review on Course
- Enable: When enabled, reviews and ratings provided by students for a course will be displayed. This can help potential students make informed decisions based on the feedback of others.
- Disable: When disabled, student reviews and ratings will be hidden from the single course, which might affect the perceived credibility and attractiveness of the course.
Avatar on Course
- Enable: When enabled, the instructor’s avatar (profile picture) will be displayed alongside the course information. This adds a personal touch and can help build a connection with potential students.
- Disable: When disabled, the instructor’s avatar will not be shown.
Price on Course
- Enable: When enabled, the price of the course will be displayed in the course listing. This allows potential students to see the cost upfront.
- Disable: When disabled, the price information will be hidden
Last Update on Single Course
- Enable: When enabled, the date or details of the last update to the course will be displayed. This informs students about the currency and relevance of the course content.
- Disable: When disabled, the information about the last update will be hidden, which might leave students uncertain about whether the course content is up-to-date.
Sensei BuddyPres Integration
Sensei BuddyPress Integration:
The Sensei LMS Group Sync feature enhances student engagement by automatically sharing course activity within Social Groups.
Enable BuddyPress Group Integration:
This setting allows for the integration of BuddyPress groups with TutorLMS.
Enable Course Visibility:
The options selected below will appear on the group creation and management screens, allowing the group organizer to decide whether course activity posts are enabled or disabled for their group.
- Group Member Enrolled in a Course
- Group Member Completes a Course
- Group Member Completes a Lesson
- Group Member Finished a Quiz
Sensei Post Activity in feed
You can select which post types show in the activity feed when course instructors and site owners publish them.
- Courses: Activity will be generated when the instructor publishes a new course.
- Lessons: Activity will be generated when the instructor publishes a new lesson.
- Quizzes: Activity will be generated when the instructor publishes a new quiz..
- Assignments: Activity will be generated when the instructor publishes a new assignment.
