Getting Started with Product Roadmap Pro
Welcome to Product Roadmap Pro. This guide walks you through your first five minutes — from installing the addon to displaying your first roadmap with Pro features enabled.
Time to read: 6 minutes
Prerequisites
Before installing Pro, make sure you have:
- WordPress 5.8 or higher running on your site
- Product Roadmap (free plugin) installed and activated from WordPress.org
- Your Pro license key from the purchase confirmation email
The Pro addon extends the free plugin. It does not replace it. Both plugins run side by side.
Step 1: Install the Pro Addon
- Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin
- Click Upload Plugin at the top
- Select the
roadmap-pro-addon.zipfile from your purchase - Click Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin
After activation, you see a new Pro tab under Roadmap > Settings.
Step 2: Activate Your License
- Go to Roadmap > Settings > Pro
- Find the License Key field
- Paste your license key from the confirmation email
- Click Activate License
- Verify the status shows Active
Your license enables automatic updates and priority support access.
Step 3: Enable Pro Features
Pro features are disabled by default so you can turn on only what you need. Go to Roadmap > Settings > Pro and enable the features that match your workflow.
