Getting Started with Product Roadmap Pro

Welcome to Product Roadmap Pro. This guide walks you through your first five minutes — from installing the addon to displaying your first roadmap with Pro features enabled.

Time to read: 6 minutes

Prerequisites

Before installing Pro, make sure you have:

  • WordPress 5.8 or higher running on your site
  • Product Roadmap (free plugin) installed and activated from WordPress.org
  • Your Pro license key from the purchase confirmation email

The Pro addon extends the free plugin. It does not replace it. Both plugins run side by side.

Step 1: Install the Pro Addon

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin
  2. Click Upload Plugin at the top
  3. Select the roadmap-pro-addon.zip file from your purchase
  4. Click Install Now
  5. Click Activate Plugin

After activation, you see a new Pro tab under Roadmap > Settings.

Step 2: Activate Your License

  1. Go to Roadmap > Settings > Pro
  2. Find the License Key field
  3. Paste your license key from the confirmation email
  4. Click Activate License
  5. Verify the status shows Active

Your license enables automatic updates and priority support access.

Step 3: Enable Pro Features

Pro features are disabled by default so you can turn on only what you need. Go to Roadmap > Settings > Pro and enable the features that match your workflow.
