How to enable LMS Notes in Learndash Dashboard?

This document provides instructions on how to enable and display the LMS Notes feature on the LearnDash Dashboard, allowing students to conveniently access their notes directly from their personalized dashboard. This integration enhances the learning experience by providing a centralized location for students to review and manage their notes.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Accessing LMS Notes General Settings: Navigate to Dashboard >> WB Plugins >> LMS Notes >> General within your WordPress dashboard.
  • Enable Notes Section in LearnDash Dashboard: Within the General settings, enable the option labeled “Enable Notes section in LearnDash Dashboard”. Save the changes to apply this setting. 

 

  • Enable Notes for Specific Users in LearnDash Dashboard Settings: Proceed to WB Plugins >> LD Dashboard >> Dashboard Menu >> Specific user/s (Admin, Instructors, Group Leaders, Students).  For each user who should have access to the “My Notes” section on their dashboard, enable the “My Notes” option. Ensure you save the changes after enabling this option for the selected users.

  • Frontend Verification: Following the configuration, navigate to the frontend of your site and access the LearnDash Dashboard. Within the “My Dashboard” tab, the “My Notes” section should now be visible, displaying the user’s saved notes.
