Group Leader Features
As a Group Leader, you see a focused view of the dashboard that shows only the groups, students, and content you are assigned to manage. Your exact capabilities depend on settings your site administrator has configured.
What Your Administrator Controls
Your site administrator sets which actions you can take. Go to WordPress Admin > LearnDash > Groups > Group Leader User to review or update these settings.

| Manage Courses | Shows a View Courses button on your group cards |
| Manage Users | Lets you add and remove students within your groups |
If none of these settings are enabled, you can still view your groups but will not see any action buttons.
Your Groups View
When you log in, the Groups section shows only the groups you are assigned to lead. Switch to Group Administrations to see just the groups you manage.
Administrators always see all groups on the site regardless of these settings.
Managing Your Group Members
When user management is enabled for your account, you can:
- Open a group from your group listing.
- Go to Bulk Management > Enroll Group to add students.
- Go to Bulk Management > Unenroll to remove students.
- Go to Bulk Management > Export Students to download your member list as a CSV file.
When you remove a student from a group, they also lose access to the courses in that group.
Managing Course Content
When course management is enabled, a View Courses button appears on each of your group cards. Click it to browse the courses in that group.
Depending on your level of access, you may be able to view course content only, or also edit lessons, topics, and quizzes from the dashboard.
Creating and Editing Groups
When group management is enabled:
- An Add a New Group button appears on your group listing.
- An Edit button appears on the group cards for groups you manage.
- You use the same five-step wizard as an administrator to create or edit groups.
You cannot edit groups you do not manage, even if you can see them listed.
Reports Available to Group Leaders
You have read access to the following reports, limited to students in your assigned groups:

Enrollment Codes
If your site uses Uncanny Groups and your group is set up with enrollment codes, you will see a Manage Codes link on the group card. You can generate and export codes for your assigned groups only.
