Using the Dashboard on Mobile & Tablet
Overview
The LearnDash Dashboard works on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone. The layout adjusts automatically so everything remains easy to read and use, no matter your screen size.
On a Tablet
When you open the dashboard on a tablet, the layout adjusts so everything fits comfortably. Edit forms and sidebars switch to a single-column layout, making them easier to read and fill out without zooming in.
On a Phone
The mobile experience is designed from the ground up for small screens.
The Mobile Navigation Bar
Instead of the desktop sidebar, a compact navigation bar appears at the bottom (or top) of the screen. It gives you quick links to your courses and profile, plus a menu button.
Tap the menu button to open the full navigation — all the same sections you’d see on desktop, in a slide-in panel. Tap outside the menu or tap the button again to close it.
Full-Width Layout
On mobile, all content expands to fill the full screen width. No horizontal scrolling, no content cut off at the edges.
Tables on Mobile
Large data tables — like quiz history, enrollment codes, and reports — reformat into a card-style layout on small screens. Each row becomes its own card with clearly labeled fields, so you can read all the information without scrolling sideways.
Touch-Friendly Design
Every interactive element is sized for easy tapping:
- Navigation menu items have generous tap areas
- Filter buttons are spaced apart so it’s easy to tap the right one
- Form buttons expand to full width on small screens for easy submission
Tip for Site Owners
The dashboard is designed to work alongside your existing theme on any device. If you ever notice layout issues on mobile, check whether your theme applies custom overflow or z-index rules that might conflict with the dashboard’s navigation bar.
