Remove Students and Reset Progress
You can remove students from courses or groups, and permanently clear their course progress. Both actions are available under My Dashboard > Bulk Management.
Who Can Do What

Remove Students from a Course or Group
Step 1: Open the Unenroll Tab
- Go to My Dashboard > Bulk Management.
- Click the Unenroll tab.
- Choose whether you want to Remove from Course or Remove from Group using the toggle.
Step 2: Select the Course or Group
Search for and select the course or group. The student list loads automatically, showing each student’s name, email, and current progress.
Step 3: Select Students and Confirm
Check the students you want to remove, or use Select All to choose everyone. The bar at the top updates with your selection count.
Click Unenroll Selected. A confirmation prompt appears — confirm to proceed.
A progress window tracks the removal as it runs. A results summary appears when the process is complete.
Reset Course Progress
Warning: This action cannot be undone. Resetting progress permanently deletes a student’s lesson completions, quiz scores, and all attempt history for the selected course.
Before resetting, consider exporting a student report from the Export tab if you need to keep a record of their previous progress.
Step 1: Open the Reset Tab
- Go to My Dashboard > Bulk Management.
- Click the Reset tab.
- Search for and select a course.
The student list loads with all enrolled students, showing each person’s name, email, and current progress percentage.
Step 2: Select Students and Confirm
Check the students whose progress you want to reset. Click Reset Progress.
A warning prompt appears — you must confirm before any data is deleted.
What Gets Deleted
When you reset a student’s progress, the following is permanently removed:
- All lesson completions
- All topic completions
- All quiz scores and attempt history
- Overall course progress (returned to 0%)
- Course completion date (if they had finished the course)
What stays the same: The student remains enrolled in the course and can start it again from the beginning.
Tips
- Group Leaders cannot reset progress. Only Administrators and Instructors (for their own courses) can use the Reset tab.
- Always export a report first if you need to keep a record of past progress — resets cannot be undone.
