Activity Feed Settings
The activity feed shows a live stream of learning events — enrollments, completions, quiz submissions, and assignment uploads — on the dashboard. You control whether the feed is visible and which users can see it.
Note: Activity feed settings have moved to General Settings > Dashboard Components. If you see a redirect notice on the Feed Settings tab, follow it to the new location.
How to access: Go to WordPress Admin > LearnDash Dashboard > General Settings > Dashboard Components.
Turn Off the Activity Feed for Everyone
Enable Disable Live Course Activity to hide the activity feed for all users across your entire site, regardless of their role.
Hide the Feed from Specific Roles
Use Disable Role-wise Live Activity to hide the activity feed from selected roles while keeping it visible for others.
- Click into the multi-select dropdown
- Select the roles you want to hide the feed from
- Save your settings
Administrators always retain access to the feed and cannot be excluded.
Example: Select Student to hide the feed from students while instructors and group leaders can still see it.
