Profile Fields Analytics
The Profile Fields page shows aggregate data from BuddyPress extended profiles. Access it at WB Plugins > Statistics > Profile Fields.
Overview
If you use BuddyPress extended profiles (xProfile), this page visualizes how members fill out their profiles:
- Field completion rates
- Value distribution for select fields
- Profile group statistics
Requirements
This feature requires BuddyPress Extended Profiles component active, OR BuddyBoss Platform with profiles enabled. If profiles are disabled, this page shows a notice to enable them.
Field Types Supported
Text-Based Fields
For single-line text, multi-line text, and textarea fields: Completion rate percentage and number of users who filled the field.
Selection Fields
For dropdown, checkbox, radio, and multi-select fields: Value distribution chart, count per option, and percentage breakdown.
Date Fields
For date picker fields: Completion rate, age distribution (if birthday field), and date range analysis.
Member Type Field
If using BuddyPress member types: Distribution across member types, count per type, and visual breakdown chart.
Profile Field Groups
Group Statistics
View statistics per profile field group:

| Total Fields | Number of fields in the group |
| Completion Rate | Average fill rate across all fields |
| Most Completed | Field with highest completion |
| Least Completed | Field with lowest completion |
Selecting Groups
Use the group dropdown to filter: All groups, Specific group only, Base profile group.
Reading the Charts
Completion Rate Chart
Horizontal bar chart showing completion percentage per field:
- Green bars: > 80% completion
- Yellow bars: 40-80% completion
- Red bars: < 40% completion
Value Distribution
For selection fields, pie chart shows each option as a slice, percentage of total, hover for exact counts.
Actionable Insights
Low Completion Fields
If a field has low completion, consider: Is it required? Is the field label clear? Is the field visible in the correct profile group? Should the field be removed?
Unbalanced Distribution
If a selection field has most users choosing one option: Is the default option being kept? Are options well-understood? Should options be updated?
Export Data
Click export to download CSV format with all fields with completion rates and value distributions for selection fields.
Performance
For communities with 50,000+ users, queries are batched, initial load may take 3-5 seconds, and results are cached after first load.
