Group Moderation

Group Moderation allows community members to report inappropriate BuddyPress groups. This includes reporting groups for spam, offensive content, or other community guideline violations.

Reporting a Group

1. Visit the group’s page
2. Click the Flag Group or Report button
3. Select a reason for reporting
4. Add optional description
5. Submit the report

What Can Be Reported

• Spam or promotional groups
• Groups with inappropriate names or descriptions
• Groups promoting harmful content
• Groups violating community guidelines

Admin Review

Administrators can review reported groups and take actions:

• Mark as Clean: Remove flags and approve the group
• Mark as Spam: Hide the group from public
• Delete: Permanently remove the group
• Edit: Modify group details

Enabling Group Moderation

1. Go to WB Plugins → Moderation Pro → General Settings
2. Under Select Components, check Groups
3. Save changes
