Enabling Automatic Moderation for Topics
Option: Activate Automatic Moderation
- Purpose: Automatically moderates new topics created by site members in bbPress forums, preventing them from becoming visible until reviewed by an admin.
- How It Works: When enabled, all new topics posted by members in the forums will be placed under moderation and will not be visible until approved by an admin.
Steps to Enable:
- Navigate to BuddyPress Moderation Pro Settings in the WordPress dashboard.
- In the Topic Restrictions section, check the option for Activate Automatic Moderation.
- Save your settings.
Moderating All bbPress Topics
Option: Moderate All bbPress Topics
- Purpose: Subjects all bbPress topics to moderation, allowing admins to review and approve each topic before it becomes visible to the public.
- How It Works: This option ensures that all topics, whether flagged or not, must be reviewed before they are published.
Steps to Enable:
- Navigate to BuddyPress Moderation Pro Settings in the WordPress dashboard.
- In the Topic Restrictions section, check the option for Moderate All bbPress Topics.
- Save your settings.
Reviewing Moderated Topics:
Moderated topics will appear in the Moderation Report Log, where admins can review and either approve or reject them.
Reviewing Flagged Content in the Moderation Report Log
All flagged content can be reviewed in the Moderation Report Log:
- Navigate to: Moderation Pro > Report Log in the WordPress admin dashboard.
- From here, you can review flagged or moderated topics and take necessary actions.
