The Message Restrictions settings in BuddyPress Moderation Pro allow admins to control how user messages are moderated within the community.
Enabling Message Moderation
Option: Enable Message Moderation
- Purpose: Activates moderation for messages flagged by users, allowing admins to review messages before they are visible to the flagged recipient or other community members.
- How It Works: When enabled, messages flagged by users are held for moderation, and the admin or moderator can review them to determine whether they are appropriate.
Steps to Enable:
- Navigate to BuddyPress Moderation Pro Settings in the WordPress dashboard.
- In the Message Restrictions section, check the option for Enable Message Moderation.
- Save your settings.
Reviewing Flagged Messages:
Flagged messages will appear in the Moderation Report Log, where admins can review and take action on them.
Reviewing Flagged Content in the Moderation Report Log
All flagged content can be reviewed in the Moderation Report Log:
- Navigate to: Moderation Pro > Report Log in the WordPress admin dashboard.
- From here, you can review flagged messages and take necessary actions, such as approving or rejecting them.
