Email and on-site notifications for blog-related events.
Location: Member Blog → Notifications
Requires: BuddyPress or BuddyBoss with Notifications component active
Keep members and admins informed about:
- Posts submitted for review
- Post approvals and rejections
- Co-author invitations
- And more

- Go to Member Blog → Notifications
- Find Admin Recipients
- Check the admins who should receive notifications
- Save changes

- Appears in header/toolbar
- Shows unread count
- Click to see recent notifications

Members can control their notification settings:
- Go to profile Settings → Notifications
- Find Member Blog section
- Toggle individual notification types:
- Post approval notifications
- Co-author invitations
- etc.
- Save preferences

- Create a test member account
- Have them submit a post
- Check admin email
- Approve the post
- Check member’s email and on-site notifications
To disable a specific notification type while keeping others:
- Go to notification settings
- Find the notification type
- Uncheck or toggle off
- Save changes
Individual notification types can be enabled/disabled independently.
