BuddyPress Member Blog allows for the creation of custom fields for the frontend post form. To access these custom field options, navigate to WB Plugins > Member Blog > Custom fields. This screen is responsive for custom field creation and includes the following options:
Field Type
You can select the field types in this option. The available field types are:
- Text
- Text Area
- Rich Text Editor
- Number
- Web URL
- Iframe/Embed
- Dropdown
- Multi Dropdown
- Radio Buttons
- Dropdown
- Multi Dropdown
- Radio Buttons
- Checkboxes
- Oembed
- Image
- Video
- Upload
- File
- Gallery
- Date
Label
Provide the label of the field.
Meta Key
Provide a unique meta key. Use lowercase text. Spaces are not allowed.
Is Required
Set if you want this field to be required or not.
Default Value
Set the default value of the field.
Placeholder
Set the placeholder text.
Add Button
Once you click the add button, the Selected field will begin to display. like the image below
You can click the delete icon to delete the previously created fields.
