This plugin allows adding hashtag links to BuddyPress activity and bbPress topics. So these Hashtags turn into links that are used to search items based on the topics. For this, navigate to Dashboard > BuddyPress Hashtags > General settings.
Here you can see the following options :
- Allow nonalphanumeric hashtag: Enable/ Disable this setting for allowing nonalphanumeric hashtags. If this setting is enabled then minimum and maximum hashtag length will not work.
- Minimum hashtag length: This allows to set minimum hashtag length and the default value is 3.
- Maximum hashtag length: This allows to set maximum hashtag length and the default value is 16.
- Clear BuddyPress widgets hashtags: This will only clear the old hashtags from the BuddyPress community widget.
- Clear post widgets hashtags: This will only clear old hashtags from the wp post hashtags widget.
- Clear page widgets hashtags: This will only clear old hashtags from the wp page hashtags widget.
- Disable hashtags on bbPresss: This will not allow hashtags link on bbPress.
- Disable hashtags on Blog Posts: This will not allow hashtags to link on blog posts.
